Value Place Madison

Booked this property for convience of being able to come back and cook after work. The property (only 6 years old) was in need of a lot of cleaning and repair. The rooms were clean but looked 20 years old. Too many hoops to jump through for the stay also. No staff on site after 8 pm and before 9 am. Main Complaint was that it was advertised as having a low nightly rate. Had booked a 4 night stay, was charged a weeks rate which included a deposit. Had to buy pots, pans, dishes and utensils to use in room and had to take with me, was told they have no way of sanitizing them. Bed was a mattress only on a plywood platform frame, and very uncomfortable. Ended up finishing job a day early, had to submit a check out form 24 hours prior, which was done on time. Was refunded the deposit and nothing else. When called and asked about the extra night, I was told that the price was the price whether I stayed one night or a week, they charge by the week only.

this hotel was well kept and very clean. the only thing missing was a coffee pot. directly across from a walmart made it easy to pick up any daily necessities

My stay at Value Place Madison was pleasant, the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom areas were clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had a full size refrigerator and a two burner stove. The atmosphere was quite and relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I did not particularly like the location, mainly because there were no restaurants close. Both restaurants is at least a half mile away. Being that I had no transportation this was inconvenient.
