The ole phart
Worst motel I ever stayed in
This is a below average motel, I choose this motel as it's close to our daughter's home. We stayed 3 nights, the TV/remote didn't work. Took 3 complaints and 2 days to get a remote that worked. No clock. We didn't get room service the first night. The cord was cut off the hair dryer, we had to ask for an ironing board. The outdoor pool was not opened and looked like an Obama algae experiment. The night attendant wore a T shirt that bordered on obscene. One positive comment, the bed was comfortable.

Try Chuck Wagon BBQ, about 2 miles west. Get there early.

Good for low price
Hotel staff was friendly and eager to please. That was the only thing I can say I was impressed with. When paying low price I do not expect the fancy stuff, just the basics. The fridge in our room didn't work and promptly replaced. Looks as though the hotel is being renovated a little at a time. Room was adequate for the price. The continental breakfast was pathetic and that's being kind. There was actually bread with mold being served.
