Baymont Inn & Suites Huntsville Airport/Madison

Clean, quiet, efficient. New hotel with nice quality all around. Next door is a Cracker Barrel restaraunt -- Yum! Convenient to Redstone, NASA, research parks and the rest of Huntsville. I'd stay again.

It had been a long, hot, work day. What a surprise to see that the hotel was brand new and close to two great restaurants. A great end to a rough day!

We had stayed at this hotel not more than six months ago on our last trip to Huntsville and had nothing major to complain about. The staff was cordial and helpful and everything seemed to be running smoothly. Unfotunately, I can not say the same for this trip. We we arrived at the room at after 4:00p.m. (check in is at 3:00) the door had been propped open by housekeeping and was not complete. We had no towels, no trash bags and the floor had not been vaccumed, etc., not to mention that I had paid the same price as the suite we were in last time and were placed in a regular room. We told the front desk people that the room was unaccepable in that condition and were advised that we couldn't be switched to a suite and could only be moved to another regular King room. Upon arriving back at the room much later in the night the staff had replaced the towels and placed trash bags in the cans but still had not vacuumed. Don't expect to be able to watch a movie either as there are no dvd players and no way of purchasing any type of on demand movie. The next morning we went downstairs for our "free continental breakfast" to see that there was actually no breakfast left, no waffles, no bagels or danishes, no fruit, no yogurt, no milk, the water for the tea was room temperature etc. We ended up going to cracker barrel for breakfast. That afternoon when we got back to the room at around 3:00 to try to lay down for a few minutes, we came back to the sheets on our bed completely stripped but not replaced and the duvet balled up on the only sitting chair in the room leaving us not even a place to sit down. Again we contacted the front desk to ask when the rooms were actually supposed to be finished and the response from the woman was that she would send the housekeeper. About twenty minutes later the housekeeper finally made it to our room from all the way across the hall where she had been working on another room from the time that we got back to ours. Again we went without vacuuming because we just wanted to rest and told her not to vacuum this time when she asked. [...] After this we got to take cold showers because apparently the hotel's hot water heaters can not keep up with a somewhat full hotel and just decided it was best to leave the do not disturb sign on the door for the remainder of the trip so housekeeping wouldn't even attempt to clean the room. Needless to say we will not be staying at this hotel again

Asked for 1st floor near exit got 3dr floor center of the hall. Asked for ADA room because both of us are disabled was given a standard room. The bath tub was NOT ANTI SLIP and NO rubber bath mats could be had. I would have second thoughts about ever staying there in the future. An e-mail with the above info was sent to the Mgr. and it was stated these things would be available.

The room was very nice, and very clean. Close to Airport, and somewhat close to Redstone and MSFC. A very good price for what you get. Restaurants a little drive away.

Everything was great except for the customer service on check in. Several times I had to wait for a while until the employee would show up. They are in the back room and couldn't hear me after several attempts to call them.

Hotel seems new. Hotel and room was clean. Continental Breakfast was good. Staff was eager to please. Will stay again if the price is right.

This is a great location for a family to stay. It is close enough to the resturants and the sites yet far enough away for a quite good nights sleep.

My family was there on vacation. The hotel was very clean. I did have to request to get my room cleaned. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in, which is very importmant to me. It was in a great location, near restaraunts.
