In town for a wrestling show. First we given a room that was quite a long walk to get there. Then the room wasn't ready because the carpent was being cleaned so we had to wait in the hallway with all our luggage while they sorted everything out. The the room was so humid there was a lingering moisture in the air that made it uncomfortable. Guest services awful. I've stayed at a holiday inn express in Birmingham and it was great this one makes me no want to patronized another one.

Not so good
not that great. had a dirty rag on the floor when we checked in, they did not try to get the dirty rag or clean it. Brought a rollover bed and they person did not try to fit bed in the cramped room or pick up dirty rag on the floor.They did not have a good breakfast.

Not bad for overnight business stay
Room was very clean, which is vital to me, but the walls were thin, and I could hear my neighbors easily all night long.

RPM INSPECTION TRIP TO HUNTSVILLE 061810
The bed was heavenly - it was just a little noisy with several families that were staying in the wing where I was. The staff was wonderful and the room was great and I TRULY appreciate being able to smoke in the room.

Kept having problems with phone ringing once late at night and waking me up. Bathroom floor not clean. Staff very nice. Breakfast location too far away

Family Friendly
This hotel was very comfortable for the price. Some of the carpeting is a little old in the hallways but I understand that they are scheduled to replace this by the end of the summer. Most of the staff are very courteous and helpful. My only complaint is that my iPod and the speaker case were left in the bedside table (I placed it there myself) and when I called to advise them that I left it there the housekeeping manager stated that housekeeping was not able to locate it and they would call me back to advise. I still have not heard from them.

It is located in a good area. There is a 24 hour pharmacy just across the street that is very convienent and several restaurants all within walking distance to the hotel. There is also a very large shopping mall just 2 miles down the road with additional restaurants, gas stations, and entertainment close by.

Convenient & Comfortable
Holiday Inn Express, University Drive, Huntsville is in a great location. The room is large and well laid out. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was a blessing! We appreciate the continental breakfast and enjoyed the fresh fruit and freshly made eggs, bacon and sausage patties. The selection satisfied all ages.
