Fresh and fully equipped: Suites five miles from the beach
Staybridge Suites Gulf Shores opened in 2009, so expect up-to-date amenities (flat-screen televisions, oversize work desks) as well as a host of freebies (free hot breakfast, free laundry facilities, the list goes on). The hotel sits about halfway between Tanger Outlet Mall and the Gulf Coast, and is convenient to local highlights like Waterville U.S.A. and the Wharf. All suites feature full kitchens, and guests can also use the outdoor patio grills. Not in a mood to cook? Try the fried shrimp po' boy at Champs Place Sports Grill, right next door.

Just Great
I have never stayed at a finer hotel. Even the manager came around making sure everything was top rate. She took the time to talk to the guests and make them feel at home. The breakfasts were better than any hotel I have stayed at. Wine in the evening was a great extra touch. Wonderful!!!

Great Hidden Hotel
My fiance and I stayed her in May for a long weekend consisting of 4 days. This hotel is just a few miles from the beach, but is centrally located for all your needs in Gulf Shores. You are 5 minutes from everything. Travel 5 minutes South and you are directly in the middle of the beach, surf shops, and restaurants. Travel 5 minutes north and you arrive at the Tanger Outlet Mall. Publix and Target are also within this range. The hotel is clean and very nice. It has a modern feel with great rooms. Our room was cheaper than any of the beach-side hotels and had much better accommodations. There was a full living room and kitchenette with the usual bedroom and bath. Breakfast was served every morning in the dining area with a nice assortment of fruit, waffles, bagels, and cereal. We enjoyed our stay and see other visits at Staybrigde in future adventures to Gulf Shores.

You have to experience Lulu's at the Marina. It's five minutes away from the Staybridge with great food and atmosphere.

Perfect Getaway!
Conveniently located to all areas of interest with beautiful and clean rooms, quiet, relaxing and a very knowledgable and friendly staff! There was nothing more I could have asked for...will definitely return!

Great Hotel!!
I went to Gulf shores to just simply go to the beach. I'm from texas and wasn't too sure about good locations for a hotel. This wasn't the best location, you will need a car. The reason I picked this particular hotel was all amenities. We had a kitchenette, separate bedroom from the living room, free breakfast (great everyday), and access to the free laundry. After driving 12 hours to get there, I would defiantly stay again , even if it isn't close to the beach. The only thing, was the pool wasn't all that great. The way the building is set up, there is never any sun hitting the pool....but who would go for the pool?

The hotel is located at a half way point between tanger outlets, and the beach. along he way there are many little activities that I think i would not have done if i had stayed at a hotel on the beach. There is a pirate put put (very well set up), the water park and the zoo. right behind the best western on the beach, there is a booth to rent water sport equipment and pairasail.

Horrible experience
The hotel stay went smoothly! I was prepared to write a good review for the hotel. What happend was that I was double billed for my 3 night stay. I can understand the error, but since then, (my stay was over three weeks ago) I have attempted to have them reverse the charges by calling the hotel 2 times, having my credit card company call them...I sent them an email to the general manager...I even sent a notification via the parent companies web site -- ALL with NO RESPONSE!!! Not even an email that they are working on the issue or that they received my web notification. That is HORRIBLE customer service. I do not recommend this hotel

excelent vacation
the hotel was very clean and quiet. all of the attractions were very close. we were able to enjoy the beach,shopping,dining,golf,and the fair. all of these places were in walking distance and only mintues apart. this trip was great. we could not have been more pleased with our stay.
