Beachside Resort Hotel

The room was clean along with a new refrigerator. There was plenty of room and the table and chairs were nice. The location was just 3 blocks from the Shrimp Festival and the beach was just across the street. The live band playing at night was good. It was much better than I expected for the price. Great value.

The cheapest place on the beach. Beds could have been more comfortable, but a super view! Staff was trying, everything worked, the vibe was cool, as long as your expectations weren't too high.

Second time I've stayed here. Location is great . Resturant is great.

noisy, smokers everywhere....not good for the price. more expensive then the very nice condo with security we left a half mile from there

I checked into the hotel and was asked for my debit card for incidentals.I had to leave the same night due to a family emergency.To my surprise when I checked my account my debit card had been charged 98.79. they tried to charge it again but I got that charge denied. I have repeatedly called the hotel and can not get anyone to call me back or make this right. My recommendation is stay away.

Easy access to beach and restaurants.

The hotel is not on the beach, but it is directly across the road from beach access. We just walked across the road. The back rooms have a nice view of the bay. The pool is in an interesting place, on top of the entrance to the hotel. It was located really close to the middle of everything.

great hotel for the price, and location. I was there for the florabama mullet toss. nice swimming pool on 3rd floor. staff was very nice and served a excellent breakfast for free. I will stay there again.

The hotel is within short walking distance of the beach (across the street, and there's a crosswalk nearby if you're afraid of jaywalking). The room was pretty clean, with an updated bathroom, and the microwave and fridge were a definite plus. But several of the outlets were unusable (plugs just fell out of them, yikes), and the safe didn't have the key it promised.But here's the thing. If you happen to be lucky (?) enough to get a room on the side of the hotel (corner, really) where you can see the ocean, you'll also be directly above the hotel bar, where a live band will blast Steve Miller covers and the like every night until you find something else to do just to get away from the noise. It's like having a rude neighbor with lousy taste in music.And speaking of rude neighbors, get used to that, too. Since this hotel is on the cheaper end of hotels in the area, it doesn't attract the nicest folks. The paper-thin walls don't help that, either. After my first two nights, I knew more about the trashy family next to me than I cared to know, and I had heard more cursewords at the pool ("That's some [*] cold [*]!") than I knew existed.Definitely would not stay here again.
