Swank condos with premium amenities -- and miles of beach out the door
If guests can name it, the Beach Club has it. Tennis? Choose from eight clay courts, lighted for nighttime use. Swimming? The resort boasts five outdoor pools -- and a heated indoor one, too. Dining? The on-site Southbeach at the Beach Club excels in Southern specialties (grilled oysters, fried green tomatoes), while Village Market and Grill sticks to casual fare (burgers, sandwiches). Guests stay in fully furnished condominiums or cottages, and have direct access to perhaps the finest amenity of all: miles of white-sand beach.Highlights
- Prime beachfront location on the north shore of Fort Morgan Peninsula
- Eight tennis courts, lighted for nighttime play
- Five outdoor swimming pools with hot tubs on the side -- plus a heated indoor pool for chilly days
- Full-service spa with salon services
Location
The Beach Club sits on the north shore of the Fort Morgan Peninsula, close to Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and eight miles from historic Fort Morgan. While it feels like a secluded location, the resort is just 15 minutes from major Gulf Shores attractions.Rooms
The tower condominiums at the Beach Club range in size from one to five bedrooms and offer panoramic Gulf of Mexico views. Families and large groups tend to book the cottages, which can be even more spacious and, in some cases, feature private swimming pools, hot tubs and grills. All accommodations include fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances, private balconies or patios, and sleek, contemporary furnishings.Dining
Southbeach at the Beach Club specializes in straight-from-the-Gulf dishes like grilled oysters and seafood fried in buttermilk batter, but you will also find chicken and steak entrees on the menu. The other main dining establishment at the Beach Club, Village Market and Grill, offers salads, sandwiches, burgers and pizzas. The resort also has a seasonal poolside bar and grill and a gourmet coffee and ice cream shop called Coffee & Cones.Recreation
In addition to five outdoor swimming pools and eight tennis courts, the Beach Club also boasts basketball hoops, shuffleboard, a game room for children, a playground, a fitness center and a full-service spa.Transportation

The Beach Club, Gulf Shores AL - Great!
This is a wonderful resort! We've stayed at the Beach Club several times and have loved each stay. I'm a single mom of 2 children and I feel very safe there with my kids. The food is expensive but it is very good, so you get what you pay for in this case. The condos are clean and wonderfully decorated and up-to-date.

Great Family Getaway
Everyone was so helpful and friendly. This was a great location on the beach with a wonderful view. It was very quiet and relaxing this time of year. The one bedroom condo was very nice but could use larger bathrooms. Enjoyed the beach and the pools were great. The restaurant was good also.

Very secluded
Great resort for just relaxing on the beach and at the pool. We went in off season (Sept. 12 - 16) and a lot of on site resturants either closed early or closed for the season. Wished they had outdoor grills to use. Very friendly staff, easy check in process

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
May want to stay at another hotel if you want to be real close to all the area shopping and recreational venues in the Gulf Shores area, but excellent if your main goal is to relax at the pool area and be right on the beach.

Great place to get away from the crowd!
If you like to get away from the main crowd, this is the place to be! We were there in mid-May before Memorial Day and, we stayed in a 2 bed - 2 bath that overlooked the beach. The veiw was great! The pools are small, but who really needs them when the beach is behind your building? There were only one or two problems. When we got there our a/c was broken, but the maintenance crew got that taken care of very quickly. Second, although we loved the location, it was also a problem. It was 10 miles to the the main road, but if you don't mind the drive then it is not a big deal. Despite the minor problems everything else was excellent. We would recommend this place for anyone who likes plenty of space in your hotel room, a kitchen to cook in, and who does not want to stay in the midst of multiple large hotel and tourist crowds. This was one of my favorite trips out of dozens to Gulf Shores.
