Gulf Shores
Enjoyed access to the beach and nearby seafood restaurants. Took car ferry to Dauphin Island.

Great time in Gulf Shores Alabama!
We stayed there for the Buffett concert. Great location and the beach was great and the water was wonderful. Beautiful!!! The hotel charged us again for the room after we prepaid online. We realized this after getting home. We had to call them and they said it would take several days to issue the credit. They actually charged us less and it was also less than the price they quoted when we called them direct!! Strange.

A big surprise
My wife and I were planning to cook our thanksgiving diner at the hotel,what a surprise ,no stove,no pots,no pans,nothing to eat or cook with. My understanding of a kitchenette is to be furnished with the above. We had plans to stay 4 nights, we stayed 1,and left at 5:30 am the next morning. The staff was really nice and helpful, it was just not what we expected.

"Great beach, clean, friendly staff"
The beach was very nice, plenty of great eating spots in the area. Convient to Pensacola Naval Air Base, home of the Blue Angels. Great shopping at the outlet shops in Foley. We will go back to the area.

Lulu'a Restaurant Lulu is Jimmy Buffett's sister, its like eating on an island. Alot for children to do, the band was great, and food too!

2 day beach getaway
Had to go to gulf shores for court so needed a nice and not to expensive hotel on the beach. First thing I liked the most was the clean rooms and of course beachfront view. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Slept like a baby. Cleaning staff made sure to come by every morning to see if we needed our rooms clean. Best Western is also in a great location. Walking distance to everything nearby. Only thing I didnt like was the elevators were slow and one day for a few hours the water was shut off other than that everything was great.

Not the best place to stay on the beach
The hotel is located at a great place on the beach, the rooms were ok for the price but as one other person had said, tou can just about count the layers of paint peeling off the walls, some of the staff would not even speak when spoken too. Unlike most hotels on the beach, they have no boardwalk so when you rinse the sand off your feet returning from the beach, it is useless cause you must step right back into it and take it back to your room. And what little walk they do have is covered in app. 2 feet in sand.I just think that it would pay to have some much needed upgrades done to assure return guests.
