Key West Inn Foley

the location was great, this place is located so close to beachs, museums, shopping, resturants, you name it. it was quiet and maid service was great. the building itself needed a good paint job and some major fixing up. our room was missing the smoke detector. it appeared to have been disconnected and removed. we asked the front desk about it, and they stated they would look into it. we had some trouble with the toilet chain slipping off and the toilet running all night long. the front desk did finally get a repair person in to have that fixed. the mattresses & box springs needed to be replaced badly. they were turning black, which means they were starting to have a mold problem. we did see a maintanence man working on several of the rooms on a daily basis. we don't know what he was repairing, but on our short trip back to the room to rest up and head back out again, we could hear him pounding and sawing away. on our last day we did see a few people coming in to start painting the outside of the lobby's entry way. i'm sure they are starting to fix things up for spring break. no bugs of anykind were visible. we only needed the room for sleeping and resting inbetween adventures. overall, it wasn't too bad a place.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. The bed was not comfortable, I need a firm bed. They're were all kinds of restaurants nearby and Walmart also. The room has a microwave and a fridge to.

I decent hotel at a decent price. Good hot water and good water pressure. I would stay there again since the price was good considering we went to the Bon Jovi concert and got a room.

Overall if you a looking for a clean and quite place to rest your head for a couple of nights, this is it at a reasonable price. There is also a restaurant across the parking lot (Ruby Tuesdays I think) and another one across the main road. The staff seemed busy as if they were working hard to make sure everything was in order for their quests; it was appreciated.

We were supposed to have a roll away bed and it was not available. They said the only ones they had were being used by other guest. They said we had requested one but that was not a guarntee. There were only two double beds. Not enough for 3 adults and two children. When I asked for a discount because of this they would not give us one they wanted us to move to two rooms and pay more when we would not do this they suggested that we check out and get a refund. We did this and found a much nicer hotel across the street for much less money.

the only thing that was wrong is the tv was a littile fuzzy, but we werent there to watch tv,otherwise, from my previous experiences it was the cheapest i ever paid for a good motel like that,we enjoyed staying there

We stayed at another location of this chain and it was too far from anything going on. The room was clean enough even though I did have to kill a bug in the room. Staff was nice, but beware of paying a deposit and cash only. I got it back, but it through me off some.

My family and I loved the location of our room. We were within 5 miles from the beach allowing more time together as a family. The service was excellent, the staff was super nice. It was so nice we are planning our second stay.
