Love the hotel bad made me look bad
I planned a trip to Gulfshore with a young lady I really love! Told her how much I love the hotel and was just awesome service. Well! I looked bad for a moment. First room we checked in, some people who previously had the room broke a toilet and the hotel thought they repaired the room. Well, we checked into the room to find out the toilet was broken. They changed our room to another room, the key card didn't work! But they were very sorry for the error that had been made and put us in a beauiful suite! If anyone wants a great hotel to stay in, it is here! The breakfast is awesome, service is awesome, and not far from main attractions at all! Besides all the negative things that happened, I WOULD RATHER GO BACK AND STAY FOREVER! LOVE THE STAFF!

Great time
We had an enjoyable stay. The only complaint is our key kept messing up every day. We stayed 4 days, constantly had to go to front desk. A little irritating but overall we had a nice stay.

The Oyster House and Desoto's had amazing seafood. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Hotel is conveniently located across from the outlet mall and several good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The best hotel accommodations compared to previous trips. Will stay there again.

Outstanding service oriented staff
I was there with my ten year old son for a fishing vacation for the week. My son loved the pool and the cookies the staff made daily. Everyone was very helpful at every turn. They did the things they were supposed to and then offered suggestions of places to see and go while we were there!

Lambert's Cafe across the highway from the hotel was the best experience we had while in the Foley/Gulf Shores area. Very inexpensive and the "thrown rolls" provided tons of entertainment.

Very Nice Stay!
My husband "kidnapped" me and took me to Foley, AL for Valentine's day. When we dated many years ago, we used to go to Foley to get a strawberry malt at the old Rexall Drug Store there. This time we chose the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites on Abby Lane. We couldn't have been happier. We had a deluxe king nonsmoking room. It was very clean and very nice. It had a microwave and refrigerator in the room, so leftovers from Lambert's Cafe did not go to waste! The bed was so comfortable! When one of us got up it didn't disturb the other one...and the down blanket was so cozy...I didn't want to get up in the morning! But when I did, we had their complimentary hot breakfast. Ours included eggs, bacon, english muffin, yogurt, banana, juice, and coffee. Yum! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

You can't go to Foley, AL without going to Lambert's Cafe...home of the throwed rolls! And don't forget to go into Foley proper to the old Rexall Drug store for some icecream!
