Americas Best Inns Foley

Lady at the reception desk when we checked in was really nice, personable and helpful. The hotel location was ideal for our getaway as it was close to all the things we went to Foley to particatpate in.

Front clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was just average but was clean. Check out was extremely simple as it was handled by phone. We did not go to the pool or use the laundry facilities, but were pleased overall with our stay. I would stay there again.

Check in was a breeze. Room location was perfect. Room was clean and spacious. Microwave, mini-fridge, Iron & Ironing board, coffee maker, hair dryer, T.V., sofa, desk & chair. Pool was clean and private. Just down the road from Tanger Outlet. A short distance from Gulf Shores beaches.

Child out of school for summer break and brought friend to get away to the beach for a few days. The motel was wonderful. Our room was on the back side which we really liked as we were able to park and walk right inside to our room. Pool was very close. Rooms were spacious. I particularly liked the instant access to the internet as I played on my computer (and worked a little) while were were there. Was very convenient to the outlet mall and some really great restaurants. We needed extra pillows and towels and they were given to us immediately. The beds were extremely comfortable. My husband particularly liked the air conditioning as it actually got cold and stayed that way. Overall, for the price, you couldn't beat it. Will definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend this motel to any traveler, be it business, family or otherwise.

I liked the hotel very much, was quiet and the room was very nice. Had a fridge and microwave as well as a small couch, desk and chair. The workout center had old equipment and they had a few problems with ice machines but other than that, I had a great stay. It's about 8 to 10 miles from the beach but close enough to plenty of other restaurants and shopping areas. I would definitely stay there again.

The fridge in room didnt work, called front desk and switched rooms no problem. All in all, the stay was otherwise great.

Upon check-in, the lobby smelled musty. The room was fairly clean, although I did point out to my wife the top of the mirror and how dusty it was. It would take many months to years of neglect to accumlate that much dust. I guess the maids figue, if I can't see it, then it's not dirty. Top edges of the shower in the bathroom were also dusty but not as bad. That evening, when we turned on the TV, it had lines moving through the picture. The next morning I told the front desk clerk so maybe something could be done. Her name was [...]and she stated that it had started yesterday and all the sets on the property were experiencing it. Something with the satellite she thought. I walked away and another guest in the lobby stopped me and said [...]had lied. She said she and her husband had been there four days and it had been like that the entire time. I went back and confronted [...]with that information, and she said, "well I wasn't here then." My wife and I then decided to have the breakfast they provide. My wife got the orange juice and I got the coffee. My wife then asked me to get her a cup of coffee, which she never does. I asked why, and she said the orange juice was the worst she had ever had. I tasted the juice. I was in the food business for years. I could tell what was wrong. The orange juice had been mixed with water. About half and half. This is a way to cut your food cost. However, it makes a lousy product and unhappy customers. When I checked out the next morning, the manager on duty was Laura. She did not ask me how my stay was. I'm sure they never ask their customers.

They hotel was a great stay for the price we paid, and was very close to the outlets.

The hotel was wonderful....clean and right down the road from all the attractions. Will definitely be using this hotel again. May even take the kids next time!!!!! IHOP next door is a gem. You don't have to drie far either way to be anywhere. Very Nice Staff....very reasonable rates!!!

The hotel was perfect for the price and the location can't be beat. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was super clean. And, you are about ten minutes from the beaches. The only thing I noticed wrong was that there was no elevator. The hotel buildings are only two levels but I can imagine someone with a handicap would find this a problem. Other than that, highly recommended!
