Great Hotel - Very Pleased
I was very pleased with my stay at the Jameson. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was very clean and it was a quite atmosphere. The room had a nice flat screen TV, microwave, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. I couldn't be happer with my stay.

Not Good
The pool was very small and had a broken ladder. The cleaning people only left one towel for 3 people to shower. There is a note above the toilet encouraging people to use the towels more than once to save water. They need to know that to encourage use of a towel more than once is an excellent way to pass staph infections and ring worm. Our stay was two days and they had bagels and bread wrapped in plastic and they were fine the first day but it was obvious the second day that the same bagels and bread were set out to eat because of the staleness. Checkout time was at 11am and the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 9am and awaken us to see if we were still there.

I would stay her again
I was given a doulble bed ,instead of king bed, my first night was taken care of by [...], I decided to stay another night and told clerk that I was staying another night, he said we'll take care of it, but when I came back to enter room late at night my room key did not work, until I stood out in the cold, trying to get in my room, I had to present payment standing outside in the cold, I was expecting to settle up upon check-out, i should have been told this. Deep South Traveler
Decent room at a great price
This hotel was as expected, a two-star inn at a good price. I liked that there was free wireless in the room. Most 3-5 star hotels charge huge daily amounts. Since I was here on business it was a plus being able to check e-amil and get contact information. The bed (king) was excellent. Pillows so-so. Musty smell at first but you get used to it. All around decent for the price.

Great to the military

Very impressed with the Jameson Inn
We were very impressed with the Jameson Inn. Check in went very smoothly. We were told of Decatur events that were taking place during our stay. The check in person was very nice and helpful. As we went into our room we were very impressed with how nice it was.The room was decorated very nice.Pretty retro design comforter on the bed.It was a quiet motel and we slept very well on the pillow top mattress They offered a very good breakfast,waffles,biscuits and gravy,muffins,fruit,cereal,milk,juice,coffee. I would love to stay at the Jameson again.

Right beside the mall, great restaurants within walking but the continental breakfast should not be missed. The biscuits and gravy as well as waffles to order are excellant

Somewhat Dissatisfied
Overall everything was great but, the bed was very hard, not comfortable for me at all. Also the hairdryer did not work properly.
