WE TOLD THEM I WAS HANDICAPPED -AND NEEDED A 1ST FLOOR RM

WE GOT A GROUND FLOOR RM, BUT NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY AT ALL. THE HEATER WAS BROKE IN THE ROOM (REMEMBER I'M HANDICAPPED? WITH A.L.S. AND THE COLD MAKES ME WORSE) SO THEY BROUGHT IN A HEAT PUMP- ACROSS THE RM YOU ONLY GOT COLD AIR.. THE SIGN SAID COFFEE IN THE AM- AT 8 AM MY HUSBAND WAS OUT SEARCHING FOR COFFEE AS THE OFFICE WAS NOT OPEN YET. FORGET TAKING A SHOWER AS WE HAD GONE ON THE COLDEST NITE ALL WINTER- THE DOOR HAD NO INSULATION AND THERE WAS A GOOD SIZE GAP TO LET IN COLD IN.. WAS NOT ENJOYABLE AT ALL.

Good value for the price

Was an overnight stay on our trip south. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. This was during the big storm and we slept warm and dry.

very basic

Picked the motel for price and location. Need to bring your own coffee maker and coffee, hairdryer, bedside clock, and iron and ironing board. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which was a big plus. Had to get used to the traffic noise and train noise. But for such an inexpensive rate it was okay.

Great location for the price

Travel was to bowling tournament in Decatur. Close to bowling center and numerous restaurants. Had a great time.
