Decent place to spend the night
Not a bad hotel. Nothing fancy, but a fine place to spend the night after a long day of fishing. Parking lot has places to plug your boat in, which is great. Friendly people and the price is right.

American Inn Camden, AL
Myself and two others from my company stayed at the American Inn for Business. The rooms were large, but left something to be desired. The garbages were not emptied (mine had an old milkshake that smelled awful) and there were toiletries left from other guests behind the bathroom door. Sheets and linens were old and ratty. If you are just using this hotel for a place to sleep, it is alright, but anything more than that would not be recommended.

Interesting Stay
The staff were ok. The room was dirty overall, with the bed being clean and parts of the bath. Fought a moth in the bath, spiders on the main window and dirt on the floor. A good cleaning would really help this hotel.

There's no place like home.
There were no bath towels or linens for extra bed.We had to go to office to pick them up. The walls needed to be re-painted. Their continental breakfast seem to be deplemished by 6:30am.

Check out locations of resturants. There seems to only be a Hardee's and Subway within 20 miles of the place.
