Great one night stay after bama game
We did not want to drive all the way home from Tuscaloosa so we chose to stay here. The receptionist was so helpful. They hotel staff quickly provided us with toothpaste when we realized we had forgotten to bring some. The room was beautiful and the bed was clean and very comfortable. Great stay!

GREAT NEW ROOMS!!! Pay For Parking, what?!!!
After making a mistake on our room they put us in one of their newly renovated rooms on the 15th floor (thanks Nate!!) the room was terrific!! Everything was great EXCEPT - $9.00 a day for self parking and $10.00 per day for wi-fi (and that was for the slower or the two options). I think it's completely ridiculous to pay for something I get free at a coffee shop.

Another great stay at The Wynfrey
I have stayed at The Wynfrey Hotel numerous times. I have only experienced minor inconveniences a few times but they are always corrected immediately. My recent stay was no different. We feel comfortable and safe staying here. Beginning with the bellman and registration workers the employees were wonderful hosts. Deborah George, food service manager, was especially helpful and I enjoyed talking with her.

Double check your statement!
We stayed here over the Christmas holiday and everything was fine until we saw our final billing statement. The hotel had charged us for internet that we hadn't added - they took it off but there was no explanation or apology on how it was charged to us in the first place. Now six days later, I check my credit card statement and I had been charged twice for the parking fee. I called and their response was yes we charged you twice, but you should see a credit eventually. Unbelievable! Make sure to check your charges.

Business Trip gone bad
Renovations, restaurant outside of Shula's was only buffet style which was cold. Room service and food was poor. Thermostat had to crank down to 50 to just get it cool enough in room. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Fixture in bathroom broken. TV is extremely old, fuzzy and poor. I could go on and on.

Horrible Hotel
I recently stayed at this hotel for my boyfriend's birthday. The people at the front desk were very rude to us when we were checking in. The elevators were filthy. We are assigned to a room which did not lock and had to request a room change. Our second room did lock but it was disgusting. The bathroom floor was sticky. There was mold in the shower. The floor in the bedroom had not been vacuumed. There was trash under the bed. Overall, staying here was an awful experience. For $150 a night, I expected better.

Vehicle broken into at hotel
We stayed at the Wynfrey 2 nights. The second night, we checkout and went to leave and found our vehicle broken into and many valuables stolen. The AAA Parking manager told us that many cars were broken into that same night and that this happens every weekend for a few weeks then it calms down and then the cycle begins again with break-ins. Wynfrey contracts out their parking with AAA Parking and they have a staff member on duty throughout the night, but somehow he was scarce enough for many vehicles to be broken into... How does that happen??? The hotel is very outdated compared to others and not worth the extra money.

Not so great overnight stay
The hotel was rather old and in need of a renovation. the Pool was not open, the gym was a joke. hotel was greatly over priced for the room I stayed in. I also had to pay 10 dollars for parking that i was not told about at check in at all. That didn't make me happy for the fact that i already overpaid for the hotel.
