Definitely a great and safe bet. The Weston is located near downtown Birmingham. Valet service was awesome. Had my car in less than 10 minutes of requesting. The bartender Brian was so helpful and provide an awesome stay for me and my significant
other. I would definitely recommend this stay for business, family, and relaxing getaway.
Staff was very friendly at all times and extremely helpful. Valet offered out front. Otherwise, parking - whether on the street or in the parking garage - will require some minimal walking, but this is to be expected in such an area. Room was
clean and very comfortable. Huge window along exterior wall provides a great view of the square below. Great location. There is a coffee shop and a pub connected to lobby of the hotel. Right across the street from both casual and upscale dining in the uptown area. Adjacent to the conference center and the interstate for a quick connection to surrounding towns. Would recommend for any occasion.
My wife and I stayed here for one night (a brief Saturday night stay). The rooms and hotel itself are immaculate, very clean and impressive. The heavenly bed is a MUST! Also, there are several very good restaurants next to the hotel.
It was a last minute reservation, but was a great surprise. The location was central, and parking was very accommodating. Both the valet service was great, and the street parking option. The room was very clean and quiet. The downstairs bar was a
great addition to our experience. And because it was a newer property, the room rate was exceptional. We will definitely return to the Westin.
I STAYED AT THE WESTIN IN BIRMINGHAM FOR SEVERAL DAYS WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS IN 5 OR 6 SEPARATE ROOMS. IT IS A NEW HOTEL SO IT DOES NOT HAVE EVERYTHING DOWN TO A SCIENCE YET. PROBLEMS WERE: ALMOST NO WATER PRESSURE IN SINK OR SHOWER, PROBABLY THE
RESULT OF WATER RESTRICTION FITTINGS, BUT IT TOOK THREE TIMES LONGER TO TAKE A SHOWER AS A RESULT. ALSO, THEY FORGOT TO VACCUUM THE ROOM ON SEVERAL DAYS OF OUR STAY. WE RAN OUT OF TOILET PAPER AND TISSUES. THERE WERE NO EXTRA IN THE BATHROOMS. ROOM SERVICE WAS 24 HOURS WHICH IS A PLUS, BUT ONE TIME IT TOOK ROOM SERVICE 2 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES TO GET AN ORDER TO OUR ROOM. NEVERTHELESS, IT IS THE BEST CENTRAL BIRMINGHAM HAS TO OFFER. YES, I WOULD STAY AGAIN.
It was very noisey in the hall, noise could be heard in your room. Bed was most uncomfortable!! That wasn't the clincher. Upon leaving valet lost my car keys.finally after 20 minutes one of the valet guys realized he had them in his pocket. we
were on our way to a dance competition and barely made it on time.I will never stay there again !!!
