The place isn't horrible. Here is the run down of the good and bad:
Room smelled funny (its either old or a smoking smell)
Room is tiny
NO TOILETRIES! Make sure you bring your own stuff.
Limited parking spaces near the room
Free high speed internet (which we are using now)
Quite place, no riff raff
Good location to shopping (walmart plus many other places) and lots of choices to eat including a Waffle House across the street.
In a good part of town.
Cable (but old tv..lol)
Laundry service on site
If you want/need "just a room" this is a fine place to stay. I would recommend bringing lysol and febreeze, but I do this with every hotel! Remember to bring shampoo, hand soap etc, none of this stuff was provided for us, although you may be able to ask and receive them.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
This hotel is close to Vulcan Park, Sloss Furnaces and Oak Mountain State Park. All are "must see's" :-)
THE HOTEL WASNT BAD PRICED. I THINK WE STAYED 3 DAYS FOR 180.00. IT WAS IN A GOOD LOCATION. QUITE. CLEAN ROOMS. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I WOULD HAVE IS THAT THE BED WASNT VERY CONFORTABLE. BUT OF COURSE ITS NOT THE HOLIDAY INN.
