Tolerable for Talladega Trip

Nearest hotel for Talladega weekend under $200 per night. Needed 2 rooms for 3 nights. $381.30 Fri, Oct 29, 2010 Mon, Nov 1, 2010. Rooms were small, Odor, hard mattress, dirty, Furnature appliances in bad shape. No apparent crime or rowdiness. I've stayed in better 1 star hotels. Family was dissapointed.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Try to stay somewhere else if possible. Fortunately called the hotel Friday to let them know of our arrival at 8pm. They left our and others room keys in the mail box. Staff was not available till Monday.

better than i thought

I had to book a hotel at the last minute. I thought this would be a terrible place. It was clean and quiet. It had a stove, sink, fridge, and microwave which was a great money saver because I didn't have to eat out every meal. Make sure you bring your own coffee and filters. The rom has a full size coffee pot, but nothing to go with it. It was a great deal for the price. I would recommend this to anyone.

Cheap place to sleep

We stayed here 3 nights for the Talladega nascar race. The track is about 45min away. My room had a bad smell...maybe pet urine. The rooms had small kitchens wich came in handy. For the price it was a place to sleep. Orbitz got me a great deal so we booked 5 rooms. It wasn't what I call clean but would come again for the price.
