Projects under an assumed name
I was attending to some personal business and expected at least the bare amenities-not so! Ice machine did not work properly-had to dip ice with a plastic cup, was told online I could check in at 2pm-could not-had to wait until 3pm-took till 4:20 pm to complete check-in, fights at pool forced manager to close pool and call police. Four days there and police were there at least once every day. BAD,BAD,BAD!!!!

Overnight Stop
Motel was sufficient, but nothing special. No shampoo/conditioner in room, only soap. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke, but was not overwhelming. The staff was very nice and accommodating, check-in was fast and easy

Be careful!
We were stopping on our way to New Orleans and wanted easy access on and off the highway. The hotel was impossible to find. It was in a bad area and people came and left at all hours of the night. It was scarey.

Spartan but Servicable
I needed a place to stay for 3 nights while visiting my son, and this was it. A cheap bed. The room had a weird smell to it...like an apartment that had just been cleaned and "pined". A trip to the store for a room freshener fixed that. The trip was also needed for shampoo, toothpaste, etc as none is provided. The morning walk to the "lobby" half-dressed to get coffee is a bit annoying as well. But as long as the sheets are clean, for $29 I can't complain. I'd do it again. I can't see to pay well over $100 for a bed/room that I'm only awake in 1 hour a day or less.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!
When I first arrived at the hotel I immediately noticed that the pictures posted on the web did not match what the hotel now looks like. This hotel is very run down with garbage all over the parking lot and almost not lighting in the parking area. The outside of the building looked as if it had not been washed in years. When I approached the front desk there where several out of service ice machines just strode across the floor almost in the way of where gust have to stand to check in. When I approached the front desk to check in the lady working looked at me with a distasteful look and asked what I wanted. I found this to be very rude of her, but I dismissed it and told here I had a reservation and I was here to check in. I gave her my name and she pulled up my reservation. When she told me what the total was for the room it was about $10.00 more then what I had reserved the room for. I told her What I had reserved the room for and showed her my reservation. She then began to get loud and told me if I wanted the room then I had to pay the price she pulled up in the system. I told her I should not have to pay the higher price for the room because I booked it at a lower price and reserved it with a credit card. She then proceeded to call her manager and the manager came to the front. And after he talked with the lady checking me in he came over to the desk where I was standing and told me I would have to pay the new higher price and he did not care what the reservation said. I told them I would not pay and I would go somewhere else. He then told me that my card was already charged and that he would not be refunding my money. It was already around 10:00 at night so against my will and instead of fighting with them I regretfully accepted there new higher price. The manager then went away to some back room and the lady began getting me a key. Once she was done programming it she slid it under the glass window between me and her with enough force for it to land several yards away. I picked up the key and asked where my room was located. She said they do not have a map of the property but it was located on the left side of the building on the inside facing the pool on the ground floor. When I went to go find my room it was not where she had told me it was on the second floor facing the street. Once I found my room and opened the door I immediately was hit with a wall of stench. It smelt like an animal had climbed into the air vents and defecated. I called the front desk to let them know and they told me they have no other rooms available. So I opened the door and windows and began to spray air freshener all thru the room. The smell finally went away and I was able to unpack. Later that night right before I was ready to lay down I noticed several roaches crawling on the walls. Needles to say I did not get a whole lot of sleep and I was out of their by 6:oo the next morning.

Never Again
Arriving around 10pm after checking that a late check in was fine, we were greeted by a very nice clerk. The credit card machine that was accessible to the public, was down, and I was told I had to leave and go get cash, or forefit the room. There was another CC machine inside where the gentleman was, and why he couldn't run my card himself as a CC instead of debit, I do not know. He took my license behind the glass so ...We had a deadline to meet so I asked if since I had a reservation could I just please pay for it when the meeting was over. He agreed. When arriving at the hotel the first time, and the second time for check in, there were police all over the place, very loud guests. The parking was not very well lit and this made for a very stressful time. I am disabled, and when told my room was right around the corner, it was. Two wings over from where I was told it was and I parked. The room was about as clean as the other aspects of the hotel: Not Very. The room was extremely hot, the AC could not be turned any lower and we spent all night waking up sweating. I will never stay here again and I do not recommend it to anyone with children or even higher than substandard ideals

Motel Sux
Even after guaranteeing with a credit card, called location directly to make sure they knew we would be very late checking in (after midnight). Woman who answered the phone was friendly and said it would be no problem. We arrive at the hotel and they had given away the room. We had to request that they find another room for us and pay for it. They found another room alright. We had to follow the manager (who was in his car) to the new location, which was horrid, rundown and scary -- we didn't even go inside the new place. So we went to a Hampton Inn where they were very nice. Now dealing with customer relations to try and get them to pay for the room at the Hampton Inn. We'll see. BTW, we never saw the inside of a room to properly fill out the satisfaction survey
