Dining tip:
In Hotel
their breakfast and hot meal in the evening is really very good. If you want a drink its there with your meal.

Who's Sleeping in My Bed?
Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff at the front desk. They gave us the keycards, and we were quite surprised when we opened the door to our room! Both beds looked like someone had just climbed out of them with the covers all rolled back. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned, and although the front desk apologized and immediately assigned us another room, the whole situation put us a liitle on guard. The mattresses in our room were not comfortable and very stained. The hotel does seem to be in a very safe part of town, the free snack supper and breakfast are a good deal and the staff is very nice.

Wonderful staff

Poor overnight crew
We chose this hotel because it was the most reasonably priced and had the best reviews for the price. While check in went well, as did check out, in the middle of the night, 12am, the airconditioner began an awful high pitch squeaking. We tried calling the front desk several times but no one answered. I finally made a trip downstairs to find no one there. There were guests who informed me that they have not seen anyone for an entire hour! I continued to periodically call the front desk for 2 hours before we got someone to pick up! She quickly changed our rooms but she seemed intoxicated. I will not return to this hotel.

BIRMINGHAM TRIP
WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE HOTEL. MY DAUGHTER ENJOYED BEING AT THE POOL. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY.

good location and good food and beverage
We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel. The amenities exceeded my expectations. I definitely would stay at Drury Inn again. The desk staff was very helpful--even printed out for us a map to a park for us to take our toddler to play.
