Perfect place to stay-pets allowed!
The hotel was located to everything we wanted or needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.The room was clean and well supplied with items from soft towels to fridge,coffee pot, microwave and more. We were in town for 5 days to help our daughter move. After working HARD everyday to get her moved, returning to our suite was a treat.

Outstanding service!!
Staff were outstanding. Helped us get checked in early due to 6AM flight change. Rooms were clean, quiet, and spacious. We were able to find all we needed in a 3 mile radius from food, stores, and nightlife. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Always book a Candlewood.
This hotel was great, especially for the price. Every room has a small kitchen with a stove and full fridge. The beds are comfortable although the tv's are small. There is a laundry room and you can rent video. All together, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice and economical

not a good choice
It was economical, with friendly staff (but desk is unattended at night), but wireless was slow on 3rd floor, and I was given a farewell by a string of 30-40 ants across the kitcenette counter! Wouldn't stay here again.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
Very nice room and accomodations. The clerks were very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with a TV remote and printed maps to assist us get around the area. The room and appliances were clean. The heat worked (I am a freeze baby even in the summer) and it was roomy. The Grill outside and free coffee and newspaper were nice. I will bring my laptop next time so I can enjoy the free internet.

FOR COMING AND GOING IN THE AREA IN GENERAL.. Have maps and/or know where you are going the signage for strees and highways in the Birmingham area is not very good!There are a lot of hills and valleys and obstructed views from the roadway.
