Hotel cancelled reservation-overbooked
Before arriving, we couldn't get in touch with management calling 3 times to insure reservations would not get cancelled. We left voice mail but never got a call back. Office hours are 10-6 and outside of that you have to call a national office. Finally talked to someone at the national office about our early arrival who insured our reservation would not get cancelled with it being guaranteed by our credit card. Arrived at hotel about 12:15 AM and was told by the on-site manager that the hotel was somehow overbooked and that I wasn't the only person who got turned away that night. Cheap Tickerts could not offer me anything else, keeping me on hold for 15 minutes while they were tyring to resolve this with the hotel. I was lucky to find another close by hotel since hotels were full all over due to the game of the century in Tuscaloosa Alabama. I will never use this service again!
