Very Upset!
We arrived between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm. We had a great day at the University of Alabama game but we were very tired. The desk clerk proceeded to tell me that I had not been charged through orbitz and I would have to pay. So I paid an additional $112 to get a room after originally paying approximately $138. Now I have to take the time to get this resolved. I will not book Country Inn & Suites through Orbitz again.

We were in town for the Alabama football game. Booked 3 months in advance and still had a hefty price. Staff was nice, but poor service. Had to go to the front desk ourselves for additional towels. Room was decently cleaned, but very sloppy. Pales in comparison to other Country Inns I've stayed at. Will find other arrangements the next time we visit.

Alabama Mom
Oh you wanted a clean room
We were in Alabama for a football game. Made reservations weeks ahead. Arrived late approx. 10:30 ready to sleep and rest for game. The room we received look like a homeless person came in and squatted. There was cigarettes, beer can in brown bag, beds unmade, shower and towells used, and missing pillows. When notified the front desk they sent someone up who had no explanation and stated no other rooms available we needed to leave and come back in 25 - 30 min. he was going to clean. When went down stairs the front desk man stated he would give us a room that someone had not arrived yet. He went up and made sure was clean before letting us go up.

Take exit 100 when going to a game at university of Alabama. Just follow road and will see signs to stadium. NO Traffic

Good Stay at Country Inn and Suites
My husand and I stayed for our anniversary and we had a good stay. Alabama Adaventure theme park is 5-10 minutes away and very convenient. The hotel is close to the interstate and in a nice part of town. The only complaints I have are the room was smaller than I invisioned and the bathroom was tiny with the door hitting my legs when I sat down. The breakfast was ok. Biscuits and gravy, packages muffins, waffles that you make yourself, and cereal.

Great Location
Everything was good except there was a lot of noise (banging, stomping) going on when we arrived and the hotel had some really strange odors and the fire alarm went off early in the morning 3 times and quit with no explaination, but it was comfortable and clean and the breakfast selection was good.
