Super 8 Sitka

This is a decent property for a business traveler, clean, quiet and handy to everything Sitka has to offer. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant. The rooms are tidy, the beds are new and comfortable. I will be using this property frequently on future business trips.

We spent eight nights at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and basic. After visiting several of the other accomodations in the town I think this was the best for value.

This is a Super 8 so no one should expect it to be like the Ritz, but for what it was and for what I paid, I was very, very pleased. The room was clean. The amenities included a microwave, fridge and blowdryer that I was glad to have, and made use of often. There was as much free coffee and tea as you wanted out in the lobby. There was AC and a heater system. Lots of towels, etc. Basically, everything that I could've wanted was provided. The staff were extremely kind and friendly. The location was the best part, because I was within walking distance of Crescent Harbor and Lincoln Street where all the shops are. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Breakfast in the morning is little (bagels, cereal, juice, sometimes danishes), but it has the essentials! And the room was very clean, and well kept every time I got back in the afternoons. Overall a pretty nice place!

I stayed here 2 nights and was really disappointed. The room are very run down, many of the washers didn't work. I was considering going into the hot tub and mentioned this to someone in town while I was eating dinner. They told me somone just drowned in the hot tub there. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Asked for a non smoking room on my reservation, but I was given a smoking room the first night I was there, but I was so tired after a day of traveling, that I just dealt with it. I was kinda shocked to find out that there were still hotels that you could smoke in. The staff was Super nice when I asked to change rooms though. The hotel I slightly off the beaten path, but still close enough that it wasn't an issue. I think I would have been much happier paying $30 less a night.

I have not been back in Sitka, Alaska in 7 years. When I arrived I was hesitant of the hotel and wanted to quickly move to another hotel. Surprisingly my stay was genuinely great. The staff was very informative and helpful. What the hotel lacks in business convenience, It makes up for in cleanliness and helpful customer service. Like my sisters say " you didn't come into town to stay in the hotel, Get off your butt and enjoy small town wonders even if its only 14 miles of road." I enjoyed my time. I hope you will as well.

Have been staying here over the past years and its always been okay. This time around, the window sill under the operable window was filthy and the whole room just was not up to par in terms of cleanliness. The price was the same as the other NICE hotels in town.

Here on business & have stayed at lots of Super 8, all of which mediocre. Your Super 8 was very clean and staff very accommodating with anything that I might need. Thanks!

The room was nice for the price. The staff was polite. I was dissapointed that the hot tub was not working. The wi-fi signal was very weak which proved to be nearly useless. I would stay here again because of the price.
