The Gilmore Hotel

Room was too hot. They shut off the heat, but that killed the hot water! Room was very small and the bed was uncomfortable. No elevator, had to drag our own bags upstairs.

nice place to stay

The Gilmore is very close to the downtown attractions, shopping, cruiseship port, etc. It was within walking distance of just about everything. We did the flightseeing over Misty Fjords and is was breathtaking.

No more at the Gilmore!

The Ferry I was coming in on was 4 hours late docking - and the desk clerk was put out because she had to wait for me to arrive before she could go home for the night. My roommate asked for another pillow - 15 minutes later, 2 uncovered pillows arrived with the comment "I don't know where the pillow cases are." There was no one to assist with baggage - had to go up 2 flights of stairs to my room carrying my own bags. There was barely walking room around the bed and the bathroom was almost too small to turn around in. Very disappointing.
