The room was clean, the bed comfortable. Our only disappointment was a lack of view, unless one considers looking at a stairway enjoyable. The food was good and the service in the restuarant friendly and efficient.

Always entertained by the Pass!
Great place to just sit on the balcony and observe Tongas Pass, however the courtesy shuttle and staff were invaluble during our stay. We were able to frequent downtown and were shuttled to and from Ward lake for some inland fishing. The restaurant was one of the best in town. All of the hotel staff were wonderful. The marina dock was perfect for cleaning and bagging fish, and the hotel provided freezer access before shipment at the local FedEx. The hotel also provided transport to the local laundromat, returned to pick us up, and shuttled us to the ferry in order to catch our flight (after we checked out). I felt this was above and beyond gracious.

Nice people, but not my cup of tea.
I don't require 5 star hotels, but a little comfort is nice. This place is clean and safe, that's about it. The room was small, but I was only there to sleep and shower. It is not in a convenient location in proximity to downtown Ketchikan,although they do have a free shuttle for guests. I did not rent a car and relied on shuttle & public transportation. The staff was friendly.

This town is limited in everything, except shops which cater to cruise ships. Town shuts down once the cruise ships leave. Oceanview was one of the few restaurants open after the cruise ships left port,good food and decent place.

Narrows Inn Ketchikan has a great view right on the bay. Nice restraunt, friendly staff. Rooms may be a bit smaller than we are used to, but had all the things we look for.
