Vacation in you own home town...
The Cape Fox Lodge is located in Ketchikan, my home town. I really didn't plan to stay at the lodge, but travel to outlying villages was delayed due to weather, so I decided to stay in Ketchikan, at the Lodge. The people are friendly and the food excellent. I'll stay again if the opportunity to presents itself...

The staff was great, and helpful. The view was great! We were able to take the tram down which led us right by downtown, everything was within walking distance.

Nice Touches
This Hotel sits in a great loction overlooking down town. It has every thing you need resteraunt, bar and coffee shp. There is amazing art and photos in the lobby of Tlingit history. A tram or trail will take you right down to the action. The rooms are the weakness, they coud use a little pizzaz and updating, the tvs are still tube style. They are large, but we had to open our windows all the way to keep it comfortable. In April!

Decent Hotel
Nice restaurant, lounge and friendly staff. Property was queit and rooms nicely sized. The mattress was completely collapsed and needed to be replaced. Also, there is no hotel shuttle van so be prepared to use cab service to and from hotel.

NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED
Our room was filthy... it is pretty obvious that cleaning is a low priority for this hotel. I would not stay here again! It was supposed to be a nice hotel, but we felt like we were at a Motel 6.
