Decent Hotel. Internet was fast!!
The hotel looked neat. I heard a lot of compliments about this hotel. It seems that the hotel was booked for the weekend so I must of got lucky because I was on a business trip. Hotel staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. They answered all my questions and was able to guide me through the check in process which only took 10 minutes. The reason I am giving three stars is because of how old the rugs are in the rooms. They gave me bad odor smell on my socks and I can't handle that. This odor smell might be due to excess mold or dirty carpet. The room was clean but the room smelled like the room was built back in the 80's. Most hotels around the area were all renovated. The best part is the hotel offers the fastest speed in both Soldotna and Kenai. This was the reason why I stayed. Walmart is close by and it is close to the grocery stores. I moved over to the Aspen hotel due to how clean the rooms are and the rooms were build in 2008. Overall if they renovated their rooms just like all the other hotels, then they would get 5 stars from me.

Clean room, good Continental breakfast
Clean rooms,comfortable beds, good Continental breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Check-in slightly frustrating: reservations not there, took 3 tries up and down the stairs to get a key that worked. Room was uncomfortably hot (80). Good location, easy to find. Would recommend it.

Good for the price
It isn't much to look at when you drive up but the staff was friendly, rooms were clean and adequate for our needs, and the free breakfast was a pleasant surprise - very good with plenty of selections. It even had a laundry room.

Great accomodations for the price
excellent service and help from the staff. appreciated the late check in as we had been fishing and got in late.

Pretty good considering location.

Very Average Stay
First the clerk gave a key that didn't work. There was construction going starting at 7 AM both days. The hotel cafe didn't open until noon so I had to go somewhere else for breakfast.
