The loby is small but I believe it is the room that counts it was very clean the bed was nice I slept well free cable and I never used it wy I was there but at 6:30 AM breakfast on the third floor I didn't use it but I thought I would mention it

Short drive from hotel
How short of drive actually a lot of them is a long way but a lot of places compared to Juneau Alaska you can't beat the background of the outside Mountains and Trees if it during the summer time you can go down to the dock and sometimes see seals swiming and Killer Whales Swimming up the port there fin sticking up above the water the cruise ships come in about then I lived there for a little under two years theres also the Mendahall Glacier and Musiem I know I didn't spell that right but hope you have a good time

A good place to stay
Friendly, helpful staff. A good breakfast bar. Free wi-fi. Taxi service when the van is unavailable. What's not to like?

Fishing fanatics
The good the bad and an ugly toilet!
We booked this hotel because we were bringing home many boxes of fish caught in Alaska. There was not enough freezer space for our fish and used a liquor store across the street. Neither freezer kept our fish frozen...all 11 boxes were half thawed when we reached home. The toilet in our room was very gray and ugly.

Nice place clean rooms and helpfull staf
Transport to down town would have helped out a lot. The contentl breakfast was almost nonexistent I went to McDonald's for breakfast.On weekends the breakfast you did have starts way to late. I was gone before it even opened on my second day. Most hotel rooms have refrigerators no days that would up your rating.My next trip there I will be looking for a place with refrigerator in the room. The transport people were great and made the ride to and from the airport enjoyable.

The best dining is down town but the taxi is quite expensive and the hotel does not transport. However the buss system, while inconvenient and log, is much cheaper and will get you there and back.

Snowboarded at Eagle Crest resort and brought in St. Paddy day at the Hanger. very comfortable stay.

Not as bad as people say! Not bad at all
While staying at the hotel, we found it very conveniently close to the air port, mall, bus stop, MCDonalds, and a 24 hour market. Its not a 5 star hotel but it is worth what you pay! I am going to miss the apple juice that was served with the free breakfast =). I have traveled a lot and this is a place one of the best low cost hotels.
