Large unit, quiet area, friendly staff
Joanne, house hunter Jul 26, 2009
Friendly staff helped my visit with my college age son, stress free. The free shuttle enabled me to shop and tour, while he ... was at work and the large accommodations were comfortable enough that he could stay on his day off. Lots of walking trails on the large well groomed grounds. Fast wireless internet let me stay in touch with home while away.

I was only there for one night. The wireless internet did not work in the rooms and I couldn't get it to work in the lobby. ... Used their computer in the gift shop...not private at all. Young staff need more customer relations training.

My review of Wedgewood Resort
Patrick Jul 26, 2008
Nice, modern and clean. I wasn't sure it was the right place when we pulled up. It was more in a residentual area than most ... Hotels, Looked more like apartment complex. Did not use amenities or resturant, but they looked nice. I would definetly stay there again.

Extremely disappointing
Laura Jun 23, 2008
This resort was mediocre at best. It's a considerable distance from downtown or any of the touristy destinations (apart from ... the Creamer's Field/bird watching which is adjacent). The walk to downtown, while not completely absurd in distance, is not exactly picturesque as you have to walk next to the freeway. Walking to places like Pioneer Park, Museum of the North or the Pump House is only recommended for the spry. The property looks like a 70s-era college apartment building (which I believe it actually is during the school months), and the interior is much like a cheap roadside motel's. The best part is that they offer a shuttle around town; unfortunately, it only operates in the afternoons so forget about it taking you anywhere prior to 1pm. But at least the shuttle drivers are pleasant and helpful. Too little value for the amount I paid and very underwhelmed by their service and attitude.
