FJM in Maine
Clean and good value, with some eccentricities
Room was pretty generic, but comfortable and clean. There is a strong Victorian theme, keying off Fairbanks' history; lots of brocade, ruffles, antique looking furniture, etc. Location is good, right by the airport and the parks highway. There was a complimentary breakfast with good variety (cereal, waffles, yogurt, toast) though nothing exceptional. Some nice unexpected touches such as tokens for free ice cream at night. There is an affiliated restaurant next door (Pike's Landing) which was popular with the locals though of mediocre quality.

Pike's Landing, an affiliated restauarant, is right next door. The food is only okay, but as good or better than most of the other places in Fairbanks (we were very disappointed in the bad quality of many restaurants in Fairbanks).

Great Location - Great Staff
Located right on the river it has wonderful views. The staff went well beyond the norm to resolve a reservation issue. The decor is very Alaskan. The rooms are spacious and well appointed.

End of cruise stop over
We had a wonderful time at Pikes Waterfront. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and top of the line! Fresh warm cookies are placed out for guests and continental breakfast in the mornings! Can't ask for more! Sue

Fun wedding scope out
The bedding needs to be updated a little, felt like staying at my Grandma's house. It was a cute room, loved the balcony and love the fun touristy things to do around the hotel. Great place for a wedding! Looking forward to making plans.

When staying in Fairbanks, make dinner reservations! We tried to walk in to a few places and the wait was REALLY long. Would have made reservations if I knew this in advance. Thankfully we ended up taking someone's dinner reservations that didn't make it at the Wolfrun. Great food, we lucked out.

Wonderful wedding night retreat
I reserved this room for my daughter and son-in-law as a wedding gift and they were completely happy with the room and amenities. When the staff found out it was a wedding gift, they went out of their way to upgrade the room to the best available with no raise in price.

Safe and comfortable
Easy access to town with a car or taxi. I would try to spend more time going to Denali next time. Hikes in the Chena area are a lot of fun

Family visit to Fairbanks
The hotel is located near the airport which was great. The restaurant is accross the parking lot which was OK for my wife and I but somewhat of a problem for my 87 year young mother. The only negative in our room was the mini-fridge. It did not get cold enough to keep any leftovers from the restaurant safe to eat later.
