Extended Stay America - Fairbanks - Old Airport Way

Rooms only cleaned once a week. Must go to front desk and ask for soap shampoo etc. Electronic thermostat in the room is apparently for "entertainment purposes" only as it had NO effect. "Free Breakfast" really stretches the limit of the term. Apples and oranges (no bananas). Quaker instant oatmeal packages and hot water. Coffee. Muffins. That's it. LAMEST "Free Breakfast" I've ever seen. Last day there weren't even any muffins. Extended my stay by one night and paid at front desk with credit card and got receipt. AFTER I left, credit card billing showed what I paid (agreed upon price $57) was REFUNDED to my credit card and a charge of $72 dollars was charged! I was not notified by hotel, and would have missed it had I not checked my credit card bill diligently. Called them and was told I shouldn't have been given the $57 price, but that they would graciously REFUND the $15 difference to my card, which they did. All-in-all...if you can afford 10 bucks a night more, go across the street to the Best Western. The difference in THEIR version of a "Free Breakfast" alone would be worth it.

clean,close to a store and airport,but in flight path but rooms are sound proof well. no plane noise after 11pm.

There were no issues with the hotel, but the location left a little to be desired. It was located directly across the street from a rather seedy looking "gentelman's establishment".

I went to Fairbanks to visit my son in the military And chose this hotel because of the studio With little kitchen figuring this would save Money. It did! I was even able to make him a Home cooked meal! The staff was very friendly and helpful with Anything that came up and all questions, all Times of the day and night. Centrally located next to everything! Even Grocery store and of course all activities and Restaurants! I would definitely recommend This place and would use again in the future!

We were in Fairbanks to visit family.

I was there to visit with family and friends, it was a great central location for me, close to the airport, close to grocery store and other essential shopping. There is'nt much to brag about tho for what is offered at breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful tho.

HOTEL IS LOCATED RIGHT NEXT TO A GIRLY BAR, VERY NOISY, OUR TV IN OUR ROOM NEVER DID WORK, WE COMPLAIN NO ONE CAME TO FIX IT. OUR ROOM WAS NEXT TO A TRASH RECYLE BIN, AND IT SMELLED REALLY BAD, YOU COULD SMELL THE ORDER IN OUR ROOM. FRONT DESK WOMEN WAS VERY RUDE

This hotel allows pets which is ok but the grounds are a mess and the rooms are less than clean.

Nice stay-very affordable-Like a small studio apartment, dishes, etc provided. A couple rooms away was a family with kids that would cry alot, the hotel computer was sooooo slow-dial up? Overall I thoroughly enjoined my stay. Nice-comfortable bed,king size. Interesting thing was they didn't clean but once a week unless you wanted it done more, would cost an extra 10.00.

Great place to come and go as we wished. Super having a kitchennette so we could saving money on cost. This was by far one of the better hotels we have stayed at.
