Alpine stay
It was okay. The bed is not too comfortable and it is located too far from anything. A gift shop might help!

horrible
fire alarm went off at 130 am caused by front desk staff smoking in one of the rooms, and it wasnt cigerttes. there was no apology or any type of explaination for this inconvience. It was basically handled by the same front desk person saying, "O all the guest r up, Great its nothing let me turn the alarm off an off to bed you go!"

Great Stay
Everything was wonderful!! Kingsize bed, hot bath water and a sauna down the hall. Breakfast the next morning was pastry, fruit, yogurt and tea and coffee all free.The front desk staff got extra pillows for us. The room was 58*F when we got in but quickly rose to desired temp. Saving on energy I suppose. We enjoyed our stay Close to the airport

Perfect location
Close to airport and to the University and Fred Meyer store for gas and other items. Very clean. Could have used more hangers; closet was small. Would have like the vanity/sink separate from the bathroom/shower area. Nice staff--desk and housekeeping. Continental breakfast was average but sufficient; good coffee but terrible o.j. Free wifi but usually had to go to the hallway or lobby to get a good signal. Used the lobby computer to do the airport check-in and print boarding passes. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Lodge in Fairbanks.

The hotel is nice and comfortable, but they need to fix their sauna. Second time I stayed there and not the last, but would be nice to relax in a sauna.
