I've stayed at this hotel many times over the past ten years. It's easily the quietest hotel I've ever encountered, and yet ... it is very close to the airport, and not far from downtown! The rooms are ALWAYS pristine and the service is superb (in the context of a low-priced hotel). I find myself wishing the rooms had more lighting, but there are good work spaces to be found in each room. There is no airconditioning so the rooms can get a little warm in the summer, but other accomodations are made: Fans and good windows that can be opened for cross ventilation without compromising security or privacy. For the price, this place is hard to beat.

I only stayed overnight but I will stay there again next summer when I plan to return to Alaska. The staff was fantastic and ... the continental breakfast was delicious! I felt like I was at home. My bus wasn't picking me up until 1:45pm so they let me stay past the checkout time. Beyond accommidating! See ya all next summer!

Super friendly shuttle driver and front desk. Shuttle driver picked us up at airport at 2:00 am. Simple continental ... breakfast is a good value. Only negative - sound proofing between rooms is not good.

It was OK, nothing special, overpriced for what it offered. To add insult, my father booked direct with the hotel and got the ... same room for 25% less than I paid through Orbitz.

We were just looking for a reasonable place to stay close to the airport. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were a bit ... worn though. Needs some updates and repairs. The building looked very nice from the outside.

When we checked in we were treated very friendly and he was helpful in helping us find some sightseeing to do for the ... afternoon. The rooms are very homey and comfortable and would send anyone there.

The minute I stepped into the hotel I knew there was a problem. Several hotel guests had been waiting for someone to show up ... at the front desk. Apparently they were understaffed and the guy behind the desk would also pick people up at the airport, causing delays for the guests of around a half hour. When I got to my room the heater was stuck on and the window left open. It was very hot so I got another room. There was no soap or shampoo in that room and the shower was constantly leaking water loudly. The rooms are marginal with the cheapest of fixtures and stains on the poor quality carpets. All of this for a very expensive rate.

The room was clean and nice. The stairs and halls needed cleaning. I told the clerk on the first night that 2 of four bulbs ... in the bath were burned out and they still had not been replaced when we left 3 days later. It is a block from a lake where many seaplanes land. I liked to watch them. I'd go back.

This hotel provided me with a great first impression of Anchorage. Starting with their complimentary pick up from the ... airport, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The location is great-just a few minutes away from the airport-and a short walk to Lake Hood and the bus pickup is just behind their parking lot which is great for catching a tour of the city. Breakfast was great and again everyone was friendly and helpful. the room is quaint but all the accomodations are great.

For a place to stay while Christmas shopping, the 2 bed suite was very roomy, comfortable, and it was nice to have a little ... frige. The hotel is easy to find if you are renting a car. The staff was very nice.

We stayed for a week at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a basic hotel, not anything fancy, ... but was all we needed, since we gone most of the time sightseeing and attending family activities for the wedding we went to Anchorage to attend. They have a very nice breakfast in the lobby. Our room was close to the lobby and was somewhat noisy at times. It is close to the airport and very easy to find.

Gweenies is a nice Anchorage restaurant with historical information on the walls. Is a great place to go for a big breakfast.

My stay was short but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommended ... the hotel to my brother and his wife for their stay in Anchorage because it was very affordable. Location was close to the airport and the hotel provided transportation.

Long House Alaskan Hotel, I checked in very late because of the flight time. It was easy to find and took no time at all to ... get to my room. The next morning they gave me very good directions to where I was to travel next.
