I liked how quiet this location was, the breakfast was good. I could not figure out how to use the complementary internet access, there was suppsto be instructions in the room, but there were not any. The first time we stayed here, we had a refrigerator, and this time we did not.

Thanks for the upgrade
The hotel had overbooked and we were upgraded to the Crowne Plaza. Great experience which included a breakfast buffet. Tried to book again later in the week at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Anchorage Midtown and again they were overbooked and again upgraded to the Crowne Plaza.

Lion King Weekend
I stayed at the Crowne, which is right in front of the Fairfield because of an overbooking problem at the Fairfield. We were given breakfast vouchers for the Crowne which had a great breakfast buffet.

The bed was excellent
This is a very good hotel, in particular, for business travellers. The bedroom was relatively small but it had a sitting area. The pool was not inviting and needs some upkeep. The location was good but there was a super-8 next to it..

Clean room and quiet location
Only stayed from 12:15 am until 7:00 am so I did not really use any of the facilities. My flight arrived at 11:45 pm. In the morning I walked to a Dollar car rental location that was about 1/4 mile from from this hotel and I saved money by avoiding airport surcharges. Hotel did not have shuttle service available until 1:00 am as I was told on the phone. When called they said to get a taxi and they would reimburse the taxi driver. However, the taxi driver would not go into hotel and required I pay him directly. The hotel did reimburse my the taxi fare. Lucky I had a twenty dollar bill in my wallet as normally I do not carry much cash.

Stay at this hotel and walk a short distance to pick up your car rental from Dollar and avoid airport fees. You can return the vehicle to the airport when you fly out of Anchorage at no extra charge.

good for the weekender traveler
this is a wonderful hotel if you are in anchorage for the weekend shopping trip for the rural area of alaska and the room was considerably nice for those of us more use to the roughing it in the bush.

Stop Over
We flew into the Anchorage airport on a stopover for an early morning flight the next day. Shuttle service from the airport was quick and the hotel provided a cab early the next morning at no cost because their shuttle wasn't running that early yet. Rooms were clean and quiet.
