Misleading
Airport shuttle dirty mini-van driven by owner. Continental breakfast non-existent. Overall appearance nightmarish. Should have spent a few bucks extra.

Drugs and Hookers
If you have children do not stay here. I was approached by two seperate hookers while entering with my 8 year old son next to me. Strong strong pot smell and drug dealing in parking lot. Room was a dump and so was the whole HOTEL.

wi fi is super slow, tiny tiny shower but hot water ran for a long time. cheepest place in town not so bad. oh and the contental breakfast is bad, coffee powerd creamer and a box of muffins. eh why bother calling it breakfast. the staff was very nice. the restaurant was decent and in the same building. its not the best but they do try. did i mention the slow speed internet? cm'mon people its 1012.

A place to stay when you need it...
A really nice motel room in Anchorage to stay in is practically impossible to find for a decent price, especially in the summer, so when I found the decent rate for this room I didn't expect much. The room was basically clean, no frills whatsoever, so sign of any bugs or other critters. It was a warm evening and the room didn't have AC but open window and ceiling fan kept it bearable. Also the mattress was in pretty good shape. One important thing to keep in mind is that this motel is on a very busy downtown intersection and is very loud. Final word: Is better than some others I've stayed in, but you get what you pay for. At least there were no inebriates hanging out in the hallway....

clean room
Very clean, updated room. Had mini fridge and small kitchenette. Pleasantly surprised by room for low cost during Anchorage summer!

Terrible hotel if you are looking for quiet
My wife and I travel quite a bit around the world and are use to staying in different classes of hotels. We do not mind the cheaper one because they help us to to be able to keep traveling. This hotel was an exception! There were people living in the hotel which contributed to the noise level of them coming in and out of the rooms at all hours. We were there for 3 nights and after the second day of no maid service, we had to ask them to clean the room. They are working on improving the hotel but it is very worn and not very clean. The rooms themselves were freshly painted and of average cleanliness. This is the first hotel we cannot recommend for the price.

Short walk from hotel
The downtown tourist shopping area is about 1/2 mile walk from the hotel. Many restaurants are within walking distance I felt the hotel was in a safe area.

I saw the hotel one day before, then I cancelled it!
A strong smell inside the room. No elevator. Awful for Downtown Anchorage. There are better hotels in Midtown.
