Needed a place to stay
We just needed to stay overnight, it is on the edge of downtown, definately an easy walk to anywhere want to go downtown, has lots of parking. Not the nicest hotel, but not bad for value in Anchorage.

awful
While downtown Anchorage is not the most desirable place to be, the area in which the Days Inn is located is awful. Not only were there constantly people screaming, but every time someone would move, go up and down steps, or close a door, it could be heard. The parking lot in the middle of the hotel provides much opportunity for echoing. The staff the first day were extremely rude, and didn't offer much help. As for parking when the middle lot is full, you have to walk through back alley's which are not the friendliest places to be when alone. I thought I had booked a suite, however there was nothing special about the room. I found a pest trap directly behind the bed (disgusting!) and the room smelled like mold and perfume. Needless to say my experience was awful, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good business stay
Good location, if it's where you need to be - just east of downtown and the theater district. Staff is cheerful and accommodating. Rooms are room-like, somewhat larger than average for a budget hotel, clean, usual amenities. The window opens! Fresh-air fans, rejoice! Non-smoking room did NOT have any smoke odors. That's a first, too. (Are my expectations too low? My expectations of smokers are even lower.) Five-star pampering, it ain't, but I do not travel for the purpose of staying in a hotel room. This one is comfortable, clean, pleasant, easy to get in and out of to do what I came to do, and a decent price. What more can one ask?

Great for price
Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Close to mall and many suviener shops! Good places to eat within walking distance. Shuttle drivers curtious and informative . Not a fancy or pricy hotel, but I didn't have the money to blow , so it was very good for my budget.

The hotel staff is courteous and redadily agreed for my early check in request. The room comforft i good and it is very near to beach as it is perfectly located in the down town area. Over all it was a fantastic stay at this hotel for the price we paid

Deployment Fairwell
My husband and I stayed two nights in Anchorage in order to see our Son-in-Law one last time before he leaves for Afghanistan, so we chose the Days Inn as our "home away from home". We enjoyed our stay but were not comfortable with the parking at the hotel. Parking is limited and awkward, some of it seemingly around the corner of another building. Our vehicle was not visible to hotel staff and the parking area was not well lit. This made us a little nervious about leaving our car there overnight.

The Days Inn of Anchorage is located downtown in the hub of City Center. It is close to museums, shopping, dinning and entertaining, making it a good choice for a nice place to stay while visiting the City.

weekend shopping
Great location, good value. Walking distance to mall. Only problems were a very loud bar next door that kept us up for a few hours, would of been nice to be on other side of hotel. Water turned very hot during shower and was hard to regulate temperature. Desk help fast and efficient.
