Courtyard by Marriott Anchorage Airport

I came. I left. And I came back again after my flight was cancelled. The service understood and made my reappearance easy. Only fault was the long wait for their pick-up vehicle.

Clean, good location, great bar and good short order restaurant. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is under construction and they have done a great job working with the space that they have. Great free shuttle to the airport!

The staff was very nice and helpful--they suggested a place for lunch and 1 of the girls printed my boarding passes for my flight. They are under construction so everything is in a room, the front desk, the computer room, the breakfast. There is no lobby. They were quick with the shuttle whenever I needed it. Also, there was no restaurant.

We stayed one night for my daughter's 11th Birthday. She had four other 10-11 years olds along for the party. PROS:The hotel was nicely decorated, very clean and resonably modern. The hotel was also very well insulated for sound because even though we were close to the airport, I never once heard a plane or traffic for that matter. We never heard a peep from our floor neighbors and no one complained about noise from our room even though the girls were pretty lound until about midnight. The pool room was amazing with a stained pine tongue & groove ceiling with exposed stained beams. The pool itself was smallish but just fine for kids. The hot tub was large. The kids had an absolute blast at the pool. The room was kept wonderfully warm. They were allowed to yell & splash and have a great time without anyone telling them to be quiet. As a matter of fact there were a bunch of other kids there too so it was great.CONS:I was VERY disapointed to find that the hotel was under a rather large renovation so the front entrance as well as the resturaunt were not accessible. We had to enter at some side entrance which was super icy. The front desk was being run out of a converted room. The dining area for the continintal breakfast was also a converted room with uncovered utility tables set up against a wall for the "buffet". The food choices were substandard compared to many other hotels I have stayed in offering a breakfast. It was cramped and felt a little weird with a covered jacuzzi tub in the same room where food was being served. I also felt that the pool & hot tub water was dirty and in need of additional cleaning.I would defintely stay there again but this time I would call them directly to check about renovation projects before booking via [...]because once that was done their was no cancellations allowed per hotel policy.

I stayed Christmas night. While I understand the reasoning for giving most of the staff the day off, I was very disappointed that this meant no restaurant and no room service. That was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The advice I was given was to either go to the hotel across the street, which apparently was fully operational, or to order in. Neither appealed to me and I ended up eating from the snack bar. The other problem was the room was very cold and took almost 4 hours to warm up. I didn't call the front desk as I believed with them being short staffed, I wouldn't get any help anyway. Aside from these 2 issues, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff that was there was very friendly and helpful. I would like to give it 4 stars for aside from the problems above, it was a nice place to stay.

I booked my reservation online and it was the easiest check-in and check-out I have ever had. The front desk staff was great and friendly. The dining area was nice and the food was good. The room was comfortable and cozy. The only thing is that when they say there is a sitting area, I thought it meant additional or external to the sleeping area so that should be a bit more specific. Great stay for a great price.

We were in town for shopping, so it was a short drive to the Dimond Mall. The only drawback was it advertised a pullout couch and when we got to the room there wasn't one. (I have 2 teenage girls, sharing beds was an issue) One of the reasons we booked here was room service, and not that it was a big deal, but we had to pick it up ourselves.

Great location and at the same time poor location. Its at the starting end of the take off runway. No noise when we checked in, but the 2:57 AM flight was a big jet and a surprise sense there was no noise before. I would stay there again, but on the otherside from the runway.

We were only their for a few hours but it was relaxing. Waitstaff in the bar was very friendly and recommended raindeer sausage, which was delicious.
