Worse than 2 stars

Our room was vial. There were unknown stains on every surface of the room. There was fruit under the bed and holes in all the blankets. I told the desk about it and a week later I am still waiting for a call from the management.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

I booked this reservation online. I called the hotel the day before I scheduled to be at the hotel to cancel my reservation, and was told there was no problem with me canceling. The policy on the [...]website also said there should be no problem. I understand that hotels often have their own policies regarding cancellations so that is why I made sure to specifically ask whether I would be charged anything.Despite my attempt to cancel, the hotel ended up charging my credit card anyway and denied that I ever called in the first place. I called the hotel to speak with the manager (who never seems to be around) and have wasted several hours of my time trying unsuccessfully to get a refund.[...]apparently does not have any recourse for hotels like this who summarily charge their customers for hotels for which they properly canceled their reservations.My advice to anyone thinking about staying at the Chelsea Inn would be to go somewhere else. The management is non-responsive, and the staff answering the phones do not know how to cancel reservations. [...]

Chelsea Inn Hotell

There was no air conditioning and the only way to get movement of air was if the window was all the way up and there was no screen on it. I was not happy with the room.

Absolutely horrific

Where to begin. Bad location directly on a busy street and the train tracks and hourly trains with blaring horns, lousy overall location. The room was dirty and small with NO air conditioning which required opening the window to a sunny day that never turns to nighttime in June. Aweful and hot. No fans available from the front desk. Noisy, noisy, noisy. Thought the bed was littered with bedbugs, but I was only looking at countless holes in the sheets. Don't walk...Run from this place. Barely inhabitable.

Saving money wasn't worth the experience

My room smelled strongly of chemicals, [...]. Luckly my entire reservation did not process so I only enured one night at this hotel. Spending $160 for the remainder of my business trip was worth the cost for personal safety.

Not very good..

The only good thing was the hotel was close to airport. We selected this of hotel because it was on the cheaper side and it was an emergency trip for us. Cheaper is not necessarily better. The Hotel is old and needs to be completely redone. I think it was in a bad neighborhood. Sorry, nothing good to say about this place except staff was very friendly and nice.

drunk flop house forextended stay

1st I had reservations already paid for, then they tried to double rate after I got there because flight came in late at 2am, drunk couple fighting in hallway, after flying that long I would not agree, all other hotels in area were clean and normal, should have known when rate was 1/2 everybody else, I stayed 5 hours and left!

Bummer

I had confirmation in hand---they had NO record of reservation. Person that drove us to the ship had never driven before. Hotel dirty, sleezy characters hanging around the outside. Would not recommentd to anyone---regardless of the price.
