Luxury full service Anchorage hotel with warm and friendly staff
The Anchorage Marriott Downtown is perfectly located for all of Anchorages attractions and areas of natural beauty. From the hotel, guests are able to enjoy fabulous views, which are absolutely breathtaking. Amenities include a fitness centre and pool, restaurant and room service. The hotel also has added facilities to ensure guests have access to all possible conveniences; for example, ATM machines. There are several rooms that are suitable for use by disabled guests and the hotel operates a 100% smoke free policy.

Weekend getaway in Anchorage Alaska
Hotel was clean, with great staff, We were in conference with 200 other couples at this hotel. Buffet breakfast was good but eggs each day would run out or be cold. Gym was good as well as the pool, the hot tub could use some updating. Room was quiet with a great view and again hotel staff where always ready to assist.

Happy New Years 2011
Nice large room with a great view of downtown and the Cook Inlet. We were happy with the room and service. We were able to see the New Years fireworks display from the huge front window in the room. Will do this again.

Close to dining, shopping, and nightlife in Anchorage. Parking is available but it's a short walk to the hotel. They have valet parking for $25 per day.

Excellent location and service
Hotel is in downtown, so we could walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was very nice: gave us room with a view and allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier. It seems that not all rooms are as nice. We stayed the first time in a room with a king size bed (A+), the second time we were given a room with two queen beds (B - a bit worn out, not as nice). Either way, we liked both of our stays and would stay there again.

Cool, in more ways than one.
It was very convenient to the Convention Center. Housekeeping could do a little better job. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Very convenient for convention center
The Marriott in downtown Anchorage was very comfortable and conveniently located. Conference center meeting sites and downtown shops and restaurants were easily within walking distance. The hotel restaurant provided excellent dining opportunities. It was especially welcome to be greeted each morning with an array of fresh coffees in the room and again in the lobby. Staff members were friendly and responsive to requests for information, cabs, etc.The room was very pleasant, adequate lighting, most comfortable bed with lots of fluffy pillows. Comfortable and comforting stay!

So many good choices ranging from seafood to steak. I love eating in the many restaurants near the Anchorage Marriott.

Great hotel for adults and children
I travel a lot on bussiness and when returning recently my two girls 8 and 13 had asked mentioned that they would like to experience the hotel life. So I suprised them booking a two nights stay at the Downtown Anchdorage Mariott. It was Awesome! We played in the pool each morning...very clean....better yet warm. We layed in bed ordered room service for breakfast. I actually giggled at the fact the room service was better than a lot of 5 star hotels i had stayed at. We spent our days shopping and Nordstroms and the 5th ave mall. This is a very short cab ride from the hotel. maybe 3 minutes. Here again great location. Its a smaller hotel but I would highly recomend to the bussiness person or just that weeekend getaway. I've stayed at most of the hotels in anchorage and i would say it's definetely in the top three.

The brew house is one of the best resturaunt's in Anchorage. You will love the up-beat atmosphere and great food.
