In really bad shape
The hotel was extreemly old and in really bad shape. The hotel staff wasn't friendly. You can hear the people in the next room talking, doors closing, damages that have not had attention. The TV is at least 10 years old. It wasn't a pleasant stay at all.

We stayed 1 night arriving in London & a 2nd leaving London.The reception staff were effiecient and helpful. We used room service for breakfast 1st morning, very well priced, fresh & filling. We used the "Buffet" for dinner the night of 2nd stay, well priced, staff attentive.Good location for the airport & our hire car company in Houslow. We paid the same price for rooms for both visits but the 2nd stay room was the same quality/presentation, but still good value against 'Rack' price!

Sheraton Heathrow
Near terminal 5 that would be the only reason to stay at this hotel. There are better hotels in the area but not as close to terminal 5.

Good hotel to stay in if you are
Good hotel to stay in if you are flying out of Heathrow early in the morning. Shuttles run every 15 minutes. Room very comfortable - great bed and shower.

Hotel is completely outdated. Carpete with many boles, old beds, old tv. It was a terrible experience

Good size rooms, comfortable and easily accessable to Heathrow Terminals using a shuttle - cost 12 pounds. It is good value and would stay again in similar circumstances. Staff very healful.

Great price for a good room. No airport noise and thick curtains to allow catch up of sleep. little slow on check-in. 45 minutes free internet OK for a minimal user. Good value until you need extra's like parking for sterling 12.50 per day. Breakfast also is expensive.

Nice to hear you can take a short walk to a free red bus to Heathrow if you are prepared to walk 400yds.

Dreadful experience
Arrived late at heathrow airport, booked the sheraton as the web site advertises 1 mile from the airport, its actually about 5, The black cab charged us 25 pounds to go 5 miles,(40 dollars) we complained at the desk and the managers response was " you should not have got in a black cab , they charge double!! Apparently he seemed to think we should know this information, his response to my surprise was " ma'am everyone knows that who comes to England ! We then went to our room to discover an empty mini bar and one pillow for a double bed I would not recomend this hotel, it is certainly not up to the starwood quality we are used to in America , it more resembles a days inn.and the managers rudeness resembles no one we have ever dealt with in the hospitality business.

Very conveniently located, easy
Very conveniently located, easy access to some main highways. Within 5 - 15 miles, there are good enough places you may need and want to see. What come to the best for my stay is that there is a very nice Chinese Restaurant in walking distance from the hotel. I like the food there, that may me feels home in HK.
