- The Superior rooms have been decorated to the highest standard with the finest fittings. We have 3 available, Pebble Beach, Carnoustie and Muirfield. The rooms feature contemporary furniture, sumptuous carpets and Egyptian silk curtains. The luxury bathrooms feature Gilchrist & Soames Spa therapy toiletries, large Turkish bath towels and your own bathrobe and slippers to use during your stay. We have sourced the finest linen available so we can promise that the beds are prepared with Egyptian cotton frette bed linen and for your room entertainment the superior rooms have LCD Televisions with Freeview; the Muirfield room also offers a DVD player, radio alarm clock, trouser press, ironing centre and safe. In addition, when you book a Superior Room you receive a welcome drink in the room compliments from Gary's Bar. There is also complimentary mineral water and a hospitality tray with teas, coffee and hot chocolate.
- Superior Deluxe Double Room
- We have 2 individually designed rooms, the Wentworth and the Valderrama. The Wentworth is the largest and features luxury seating for your relaxation. The Valderrama is a dual aspect room, located at the front of the guest house, with decked balcony and views of the gardens. Both rooms feature contemporary furniture, sumptuous carpets and Egyptian silk curtains. The beautiful bathrooms boasts power showers, large spa baths, twin sinks, Spa therapy toiletries and large Turkish bath towels. In the rooms you will find your own bathrobe and slippers to use during your stay and the bed is prepared with Egyptian cotton bed linen. For your room entertainment there are LCD Televisions with Freeview, free Wi-Fi, radio alarm clock, trouser press, ironing Centre and safe. In addition, when you book a Superior Deluxe Room you receive a welcome drink in the room compliments from Gary's Bar. - St Andrews Suite
- The superb St. Andrews Suite is ideal if you are planning a romantic trip away with its spacious open plan layout and views of the garden. Designed with contemporary furniture, sumptuous carpets and Egyptian silk curtains, the room also has a 2-seater leather sofa to relax on. The elegant bathroom boasts power shower, large spa bath, twin sinks, Spa therapy toiletries and large Turkish bath towels. In the room you will find your own bathrobe and slippers to use during your stay and the bed is prepared with Egyptian cotton frette bed linen. For your room entertainment there is a 37 inch wall hung HD Ready LCD Television with Freeview and DVD player, free access to the Wi-Fi that runs throughout the hotel, Radio alarm clock, trouser press, ironing centre and safe. In addition, when you book the St. Andrews Suite you receive a welcome drink in the room compliments from Gary's Bar. There is also complimentary mineral water and a hospitality tray with teas, coffee and hot chocolate.

Das Hotel ist familiengeführt, sehr sauber, gemütlich und man kann sich eigentlich nur wohlfühlen. Die meisten Besucher sind so ab 30 aufwärts. Eher weniger junge Besucher, aber auch unter 30 jährige waren dort. Also ein Hotel für jedermann. Während meines Aufenthaltes deutsch und englisch-sprachiges Publikum. Strand ist quasi vor der Haustüre. Vielleicht 300 Meter bis zum Meadfoot Beach. Der Sandstrand ist zwar etwas weiter, aber trotzdem immer noch super in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und auch der Hafen, unzählige Geschäfte sind schnell zu erreichen. Leider ist der nächst größere Flughafen in Bristol und 2 Stunden mit dem Auto. Allerdings kann man auch noch mit dem Zug fahren, was eine sehr gute Alternative zum Auto fahren ist. Der Bahnhof ist ebenfalls in Fußreichweite. Auch Fähren fahren in nahegelegene orte, und das für Hin und zurück nur 2 GBP! Besser geht der Service eigentlich nicht! Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gereinigt, super sauber! Ich wusste ja dass das Hotel Familiengeführt ist, aber so eine große Freundlichkeit und Nettigkeit habe ich in keinem Hotel bisher erlebt! Auch die Deutschkenntnisse sind sehr gut, für die die nicht so gut englisch sprechen :) Sollte dennoch mal etwas schief gelaufen sein, wird "der Fehler" sofort behoben! Das Frühstück, ich weiß garnicht was ich sagen soll... Ich habe noch NIEEEEE in meinem Leben ein so gutes englisches Frühstück gegessen! Es gibt zum Frühstück ein Buffet mit Bagels, Muffinbrötchen, Pancakes, Welsh Cakes, Crumpets, Toast, selbst gemachtes Müsli, Naturjogurts mit verschiedenen anderen Zutaten, Salami, Käse, Obst uvm... Diese Sachen gab es am Frühstücksbuffet frei zugänglich. Zudem konnte man alle verschiedenen Zutaten eines englischen Frühstücks morgens bestellen und sie wurden frisch in der Küche für jeden zubereitet. Außerdem gab es für abends noch eine Bar, in der man sehr günstig alle möglichen Getränke bekommen konnte! Die Zimmer waren vielleicht nicht die größten, aber wie ich finde ausreichend. Man ist ja nicht im Urlaub um 24 Stunden da drin zu sitzen. Bad war auch groß genug und ganz neu. In meinem Zimmer waren leider trotzdem diese seltsamen Wasserhähne am Waschbecken, also einer für warm(heiß) und einer für kalt. Bei meinen Eltern waren es aber ein normaler Wasserhahn am Waschbecken. Die Möbel waren auch total okay, und es hat immer soooo unbeschreiblich gut in meinem Zimmer gerochen wenn sauber gemacht wurde. W-Lan ist im Hotel kostenlos, auch ein PC steht für alle jederzeit bereit. Mit dem Handy Empfang war es in meinem Zimmer zwar nicht ganz so gut, aber das lag wohl gerade an meinem Zimmer, denn bei meinen Eltern war es okay. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist total angemessen, vor allem wenn man sich die vielen überteuerten Hotels anschaut. Wenn man über die Hotel Webseite bucht, bekommt man sogar noch ein Rabatt. Frühstück ist leider exklusive, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall Frühstück dort einzunehmen! Jeder Zeit weiter zu empfehlen! Sollte ich noch einmal in diese Region fahren, werde ich auf jeden Fall dieses Hotel buchen!
