After reading some other reviews, I was abit worried I had made a mistake, but I was well chuffed, as my partner and I had booked in for the Bruce Springsteen concert. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, very
limited parking, but there is a secure multi-story car park round the corner(cars to be removed before 23:00 hrs) the reception staff told me where we could park overnight as long as car was moved before 08:00 hrs. Wotherspoon next door was fantastic, no complaints from us :0)
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Wotherspoons do a great breakfast, good food and drink, staff very helpful too. :0)
Tatty, Grubby, fixtures and fittings need replacing, Bed terrible. The noise from the bars below annoying! Travelodge seem to be spending all their money on new hotels rather than keeping their current hotels to a reasonable standard. No point
complaining to them either, I received a reply 2 weeks after my complaint to be told, "thanks for the feedback" this will be taken on board when considering re-fits to our hotels. Maybe they should try stay a night themselves.
