The Worst Best Western Hotel

This is the WORST Best Western hotel I have ever stayed in & my partner & I have stayed in many including having our wedding day at one. We arrived for our break & headed to our room after checking in & let me say we where shocked it looked like it had not been cleaned from the last guest with crumpled sheets, dusty window frames & to top it all lets say hair still in the toilet from the last person DISGUSTING. That was only the beginning of our joyous stay at this terrible hotel. The room was very stuffy but you cant open the windows as they are broken ! wonderful. Next was the very loud music from a party downstairs at 10pm so we called down to be told by a lady on reception it would be off by 11pm we laid waiting for 11pm but no it carried on until 12.10am this is totally unacceptable & we should have been told when we made the booking that loud music was going on until the early hours. Breakfast was a shambles with a lack of management in a "free for all restaurant" with many other guests complaining about lack of service & tables. The breakfast itself was very good so at least this terrible hotel has got one thing right. On checking out I asked for a manager to speak to but guess what there was not one on duty....on a busy Sunday morning in a packed hotel no manager this tells me straight away how badly this hotel is run or maybe he/she was hiding from all the angry & unhappy guests. I have written to Best Western with regards to my stay at this shambles of a hotel & await a response. I would never normally write a review of a hotel but this place takes the biscuit & if it stops another couple having to endure what we had to then I am glad I have. PLEASE BEWARE THE BEST WESTERN GLENDOWER HOTEL IS A DIRTY HOTEL WITH TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT
