Silks is a neighbourhood brasserie-style restaurant that's laid back enough for a relaxed breakfast, brunch or a quick bite after work but with more than enough style to take guests right through to dinner. There is something for everyone-no matter what time of day you visit. Eggs benedict for breakfast, a classic caesar salad for lunch, sumptuous champagne afternoon cream tea or a hearty steak and chips for dinner-with the emphasis on providing you with a flexible, accessible menu that takes the hassle out of life. Imaginative modern British cuisine prepared simply by Head Chef, Matt Gardner and his Kitchen brigade, using fresh, local ingredients delivered with friendly but impeccable hospitality.
An eclectic selection of over 80 bins from around the world-exceptional classics, fine wines, plus unusual and fabulous finds, some from little-known but nevertheless incredible producers that offer exceptional taste.

Owl/Bird nest or something outside the window making an awful noise from 4AM onwards tends to sour an opinion of things when all you're looking for is a good nights sleep. Then, whilst awake, having the internal wifi down during that same
timeframe compounds it.
That said ... staff was good (booked me taxi when none were to be found), and good coffee shop across the way open at 7AM.
