Superb Hotel
This hotel and all it's staff made my stay an absolute memorable one. From the minute I arrived, the professional and friendly service was awesome, and when my daughter and grandchildren visited the leisure centre,every effort was made to accomodate their every wish. This hotel deserves 5 star rating. Simply Superb.

First class service hotel in Reading
REally surprised at good quality of this hotel for the price, and wonderful employees. Near the station and on the River Thames to walk.. Area near station is not too hot so don't walk alone at night in the area to towards that direction. Very safe around hotel and car park good. Geoff -Somerset

Clean & Great Location
My husband and I live in the US and went to England for a week and a half to visit his family who live in Reading. We chose this hotel because it's close to the Town Centre (about a ten minute walk if that) and had read many other good reviews. While the room was rather small compared to the places we've stayed in the States, we really don't have any complaints about our stay other than the bed being a little uncomfortable. The staff was polite and the room was clean and in good condition. The room also had a refrigerator so rather than paying the usual high hotel prices for breakfast, we bought cereal and milk at a local shop.

If you are traveling with at least one other person and plan to take a few day trips to London via train, get a Network railcard. They're good for a 33% discount on up to four people. The money we saved on just two trips covered the cost of the railcard.
