Good location

I have just had an email from the hotel due to my complaint that the bathroom / bedroom had not been properly cleaned on Saturday. I have been offered a small refund in recompense. Breakfasts could be much better, breads etc were not replaced rapidly enough every morning I was there and people were kept waiting. No pots of tea or coffee available in the lounge - just mugs which meant that I did not invite my friends/family to take tea/coffee with me, I used other venues instead. This hotel has gone downhill over the past five years which is a great pity.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Gunwharfe Quay for shopping, craft market, eating, views of the harbour and ferries. Always something to see with boat trips around the harbour a great experience. The restaurants in Southsea provide several different ethnic opportunities, do a little research on the internet before you go. Visit Chichester 13 miles away, it is a must with the Cathedral and beautiful buildings and the historic Cross in the middle of town. Shopping is great there.
