Centrally located, with good facilities

Centrally located, with good facilities and large public areas. The rather drab exterior is not a reflection of the standards in the hotel which are very good. Conoisseur bedroom was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff who were not intrusive. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

If you like sleep - don't stay here!

The rooms are close to a noisy road and the windows are useless and keeping out the noise. We didn’t get any sleep all night. Complained to the reception staff in the morning, who were rude and uninterested. We also selected this hotel for the onsite parking. However, beware the car park is not free (You have to pay the reception staff £6.00 before they will open the gate) This fact is not advertised. On a positive the breakfast was excellent. Would never use this hotel again.

Overnight accommodation

We were disappointed as the hotel had been listed on travel website as having a swimming pool which it did not. This was our main reason for selecting it. Generally OK but a little old fashioned. Limited choice of food in restaurant for vegetarian daughter.
