Excellent stay.

Wonderful stay at this historical hotel. Stayed in the extended Woodland wing and enjoyed all the modern comforts. Large room, top quality bed and linens, huge bathroom with two wash basins, bath and seperate shower cubicle. Enjoyed a breakfast cooked to order (not buffet) with continental or full english selections. Great atmosphere in the the lounge/bar area at night in the original old house. Special mention though to all the hardworking front and back of house staff. Couteous, polite and very efficient. Will be back!

Poor Service

Overall good hotel good staff.Problem area is the breakfast restaurant-Took 12 minutes to be seated-half the cold buffet not on show.Took 30-35 minutes from ordering hot brekfast to arriving-very slow service from the kitchen-many other tabels complaining about this as well.
