The Vermont Hotel's Manhattan Style twelve storey tower boasts a prominent setting next to the historic Castle and is within the Business, Retail, Entertainment and Quayside areas of the City. A short walk to the department stores and shops of Northumberland Street, Eldon Square, Grey Street and Grainger Street, as well as both Universities. There are spectacular views of the Tyne and Millennium Bridges, the Castle and Cathedral as well as the Quayside.It has direct access to the Quayside and on site parking is Free of charge.With its 101 guest rooms and Suites the Vermont offers a variety and style for all occasions. The guest rooms have been finished in soft, relaxing colours and have all the facilities to allow you to sit back and relax in a comfortable arm chair to either have a drink from your personal bar or watch a satellite channel or to work at a dedicated desk with it's own two line telephone with conference facilities, light and power sockets for your equipment. Fantastic location, decor is a little tired

Hotel is at an excellent location right next to good restaurants and near the center of town. The room decor and bed were a little more than I would expect for this price. The worn furniture and hallways are in need of a refresher - but overall cleanliness was good.
